About Katie Houser | Artist

   Katie Houser is an American fine artist from Winchester, Virginia, who is living in The Hague Netherlands. Houser also spends time in Virginia and New York each year.  

Katie has experience teaching all ages and levels of art-having worked with absolute beginners as well as professional artists.  Houser earned her MFA with distinction from Newcastle University and holds a BA in Art History from the University of Georgia. With an interdisciplinary approach, Houser’s work includes paintings, sculptures, and drawings, each with a distinct style that appeals to a variety of tastes and spaces. Houser is also a curator who has worked with artists such as Cody Sowerby, Hazel Soper, Jade Sweating, Mani Kambo, Jane McCmillain and currently Ashraf Awad. 

Houser started ‘Paint N Sip’ in May of 2025 and found that the interest in ‘Paint n Sip’ events that focused on offering the participants a high quality introduction to art and also provided good results extremely high. 

Houser offers a variety of workshop events as well as the ability to book private group and individual lessons. 

Houser also takes on commissions and sell originals and prints of her own work.
